It's amazing how healthy and fit the Greek people are. There is absolutely truth to benefits of a Mediterranean diet. Consuming tons of olive oil and fresh fruits and vegetables is important. It is interesting that quite a bit of bread is also consumed in Greece, but when in the context of a balanced diet isn't necessarily bad for you... especially when made from whole grain. Another interesting fact is that Mediterranean boardering countries have a very low incidence of back/neck pain issues and it is rare that someone needs epidural steroid injections or surgery. Maintaining a healthy diet, lean weight and dignified lifestyle without always running around and stressing leads to better overall health and a longer life.

So....you only live once! I can't keep away from the ocean. It is addicting! Greatest way to be maintain good mental health is to travel and be able to be at one with the ocean and nature. Nothing like sunrises and sunsets at sea. Learning to meditate on the high seas and cleanse the mind and soul. Silversea Cruises is rocking it with the most beautiful and spectacular new ship the Silver Moon. It is so refreshing to be around people enjoying themselves and seeing a happy crew from all over the world that had not worked in 1.5 years. As amazing as this ship is it wouldn't be as special if not for the dedicated, kind and perfect crew. Life goes on...even in the midst of COVID-19. Nobody discusses it here. Everyone on board is vaccinated and tested. Life feels normal if even just for the 10 days on board.
