What an event! What a celebration. A beach themed party was perfect for a school right near the Pacific Ocean. The food was delicious and the add ons of a fish taco bar, fruit cart and bar for the adults brought the brunch to a new level. The sand art, tide pool and our children's comedian Mr. Funn helped make the party so fun for our students. We came together to celebrate every child's achievements with the senior graduates as our honored guests. Thank you all for joining this momentous occasion and making it extra special with your participation. Here is another year for the books. Thank you to the parents who organized the event. You made it so wonderful for everyone. May we all go from strength to strength. Cheers to all.

Summer has begun. First beach trip was a success.

The young children around us are a sign of a bright, flourishing, strong Jewish future! And we won’t have to wait for next year … may we be THIS YEAR IN JERUSALEM REUNITED WITH ALL THE HOSTAGES, WITH WORLD PEACE AND THE COMING OF MOSHIACH NOW.

I was invited last month by our senior students as they told me the story of Purim, one section at a time.

Once they were finished, they went over to where I was sitting on the couch and surrounded me. They sang to me all the holiday songs they knew. I just love this bunch. You can’t see me but I am there surrounded by love.

When your child is twitching, touching, sniffing, making faces, making movements that seem weird and unnecessary or is taking excessively long to wash or toilet, or is having panic-induced meltdowns or rage attacks or is doing any other peculiar behavior - speak to your pediatrician about it. Although kids do outgrow a lot of their developmental oddities, YOU aren't necessarily the best one to decide that the behavior in question is just a normal, temporary childhood quirk. It may actually be part of a syndrome that - once identified - is easy to nip in the bud with proper treatment. Everything responds best to EARLY intervention. Don't wait.

Twin Day for Purim Spirit Week.

Our students are studying about UPS. Our regular driver was so kind to stop and show us what is inside his truck. Thank you so much.

We are ready for Purim.

Our Gesher and J1 class are learning about the community helpers at Chabad. They have learned about our chef, our Gardner, our office manager, security guard and our maintenance team. This week, they are studying the job of a rabbi.

Our new gadget is a win with our students. Nobody wants to get off. That is what I imagined.

So much information to unpack. It was incredible to join a three day conference by CECE with a preschool membership network of over 5000 nationwide.

Collaboration, round table discussions, supporting each other in our important work as directors.
