As many of you have heard, our restaurant's gas bill from SoCalGas was over $13,000 for the month of January because of the rate/price increase for gas. Due to the style of cooking that we do, Cantonese style BBQ, and high flame Chinese wok cooking, we are unable to adjust the amount we use. Many of you have asked how you can help. We would really appreciate it if you could come in to eat or order take out. You can also donate to this fundraiser that we originally created during the pandemic. Judy is doing the best she can with the Hop Woo team to keep the restaurant going. We appreciate all the different media outlets for stopping by to talk to us and share this issue, especially for sharing the post that started it.
