Gratitude in Practice of Pharmacy: A Thanksgiving Tribute to Pharmacy Professionals.

We have a lot to be thankful for today and every day. At top of our list is our Clinicare Community:

🧡Our patients, their families and caregivers, who give us the power to make a difference every day.
🧡Our staff of clinical pharmacists, residents, interns, technicians, assistants who go above and beyond every single day.
🧡Our partners, providers, and everyone else involved in care we provide every day.

I know that not everyone gets to see how these acts of caring and kindness are changing lives, every day.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I would like to thank my team members who are making a difference, by driving to patients who are too sick to come to us; by working on weekends providing community health services to patients who cannot afford healthcare; by preventing serious medication related complications and identifying and resolving problems in every patient’s care; by addressing care gaps and preventing unnecessary hospitalizations and emergency department visits; by helping navigate the complex healthcare system and educating patients about financial assistance programs available to them; by helping our healthcare partners and providers continue to provide cost-effective and accessible care to all; by addressing social determinants of health through motivational interviewing at every point of care and interaction with patients.

This list goes on and on, but not everyone knows the amount of care and love our Clinicare team adds to the services we provide to our patients and community.
And same goes for our patients and community – it is their trust and love that powers us to stand out of ordinary and do what we love to do!

valuable medication reviews with CMR-eligible patients during Comprehensive Medication Review Month. Thank you and for helping get the

👩‍⚕️If you are at high risk of getting very sick from COVID-19, and test positive, treatment may be available.

👩‍⚕️Contact your healthcare provider right a way. Don’t delay. Treatment must be started early to work.

👩‍⚕️There are several therapies meant to prevent COVID-19 patients with high-risk medical
conditions from becoming hospitalized.

👩‍⚕️ Guidelines for who to treat with outpatient therapies are set by the National Institute of Health.
