We’re delighted to announce that we will be hosting Kunal Nayyar for this year’s speaker event!
Please join us for an Evening with Kunal Nayyar on March 22 (Wed) at 7 PM in Bovard Auditorium. Our event will focus on his experiences growing up in New Delhi, leaving home to attend university in America, finding his place in the world of theatre, and pursuing an acting career in the entertainment industry.
Kunal Nayyar is an Indian actor best known for his work as Rajesh Koothrappali on the TV comedy show The Big Bang Theory but also, most recently, his roles in the Apple+ series Suspicion as Aadesh and the film The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry as A.J. Fikry. Nayyar has also released a book called Yes, My Accent Is Real: And Some Other Things I Haven't Told You and even produced a documentary, Beyond All Boundaries, about the competitive sport of Cricket in India.

This is in celebration of International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education! IEW is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.
Come to ISA's Employment Visa Workshop with WR Immigration on 11/17 (7-8pm) @ THH 212 (ZOOM OPTION LINK IN BIO SOON).
We will be having a speaker from WR Immigration come talk about legally working in America as an international student! Some topics that will be covered include the basics of CPT/OPT, Visa options (including H-1B, E-2, O-1) and common mistakes associated with each, work permits, options of opening your own business, and green card options including self-sponsorship under EB-1 & EB-2.

We will have speakers talk about the internship process for international students. Both about searching for an internship and resources, along with learning how to get an internship. We will also be answering any questions that you all have!
