According to Realtor.com, Louisville was ranked 5th in the U.S. for cities with the most affordable mansions! 🏡

Realtor.com looked for cities with the most affordable homes of 5,000-plus square feet and on. These cities had to have had at least 50 mansion listings in August to be included in the list. 🏡

To achieve geographic diversity, they limited our list to just one city per state. 🏡

Louisville stats:
Median mansion price: $969,900 🤑
Median mansion price per square foot: $159 🤑

The Jefferson County School Board has unanimously approved a new tax rate for Jefferson County property owners! 🏡 💸

The new property tax is 79.6 cents per $100 of assessed value.

It’s less than the rate we saw in 2020, which is currently being challenged in court, but it’s is more than what Jefferson County residents were paying in 2019 and 2020!

Compared to last year, the Louisville Real Estate Market has had 38.1% less inventory, but home sales are up 13% in 2021. 🔥 💰

In Jefferson County, the average sales price is $283,969, July 2021, while last year the median price was $235,000.💰

“Inventory is still low, but we have seen some improvement with about 1,600 homes and condos for sale versus just 1,000 a few months ago,” said GLAR President Judie Parks. “The prevalence of multiple offers is decreasing, but we are still very much in a sellers’ market.”
