According to the forecast, home prices in Louisville are predicted to rise by 4.5% while sales volume is expected to grow by 7.3%, compared to the U.S. average of 2.9% and 6.6% respectively. Realtor.com looked for cities with the most affordable homes of 5,000-plus square feet and on. These cities had to have had at least 50 mansion listings in August to be included in the list. ๐Ÿก

To achieve geographic diversity, they limited our list to just one city per state. ๐Ÿก

The Jefferson County School Board has unanimously approved a new tax rate for Jefferson County property owners! ๐Ÿก ๐Ÿ’ธ

The new property tax is 79.6 cents per $100 of assessed value.

Itโ€™s less than the rate we saw in 2020, which is currently being challenged in court, but itโ€™s is more than what Jefferson County residents were paying in 2019 and 2020!

In Jefferson County, the average sales price is $283,969, July 2021, while last year the median price was $235,000.๐Ÿ’ฐ

โ€œInventory is still low, but we have seen some improvement with about 1,600 homes and condos for sale versus just 1,000 a few months ago,โ€ said GLAR President Judie Parks. โ€œThe prevalence of multiple offers is decreasing, but we are still very much in a sellersโ€™ market.โ€
