What was just a paint job turned into a little carpentry work. 392 L. Ft that is. 😏
Our friends at Perimeter Roofing know how to keep a fella busy.

•Replaced all rotted/damaged wood.
Mostly 1xs but also some soffit panels and brick mold around the windows and a little profile trim under the j channel.
•Removed gutters and installed new fascia boards in a couple areas. Reinstalled gutters.
•Insulated and flashed windows while we had the trim off.
•Caulked and putty all the trim.
•Pressure washed everything to be painted.
•Applied stucco compound to butt joints of body and where it got damaged from removing old trim.
•Painted body and trim x2 for the finish.

We have been working on a huge exterior project but when it rains we keep the paint brushes moving.
-(2) Bathrooms ; walls + trim.
-(1) Bedroom; walls and baseboards.
Client bought the wall paint which was S.W.’s
But we brought the trim, my favorite, “Advance “ from Ben Moore.

Completed all the “yellow” trim/siding on this old farm house besides the front bottom windows and porches. (Completed by another contractor)
•Every single window had to be scraped and glazed! (31) to be exact.
•Epoxy filled two window sashes.
•Replaced (6) panes of cracked/broken glass.
•Replaced a rotted 2x2 in the lattice work.
•Nailed tight/ caulked all the siding on the dormers.
Glad to put this one in the rear view!!
No slate broken, no paint splatters on slate, all professional.
We used “Element Guard” as our choice of product and put the “30 min before rain,ready” to the test. Holds true! Ben Moore product.

From interior to exterior.

This bathroom had blistering issues on the wall and paint peeling on the trim. We sanded everything down, hit everything with “Fresh Start” primer, a little spackle and then top coated the walls with one of the best bathroom paints available, “Aura Bath and Spa”. Trim was painted with “Command”. An extremely durable and hard paint when fully cured. Finally,
painting the ceiling completed the fresh look of this new color in a picture perfect bathroom.
We also removed all the caulk from the shower and applied a more durable silicone with a professional touch.
The afternoon project was provided by our friends at Brownstone Properties. We bleached all the siding and gutters. Making sure the gutters were clean inside and out.
Pressure washing in this hot weather is always welcomed.
All products found at Spectrum Paint, even the bleach. 😆

Just an hour outside of LBC, this one was in the lovely Star City of Roanoke.

Over 1,900SqFt of walls got a color change.

The “Swiss Coffee” color pick was not only an improvement but it made this already large and beautiful house that much more.

These photos truly show this beautiful home’s transformation!

•Pressure washed all wood, foundation rock wall, concrete pad under deck, sidewalk in front and back, brick chimney, all brick window sills, all white metal trim/gutters/downspouts, soffit and vinyl.

•Swinging gate was hanging up bad so we made a relief Cutt so that it would open/close freely.

•Bondo was used to repair a 4x4 post and to close up some nasty 45 cuts on the handrails.
Replaced rotted 1x6 end cap on fence.

•Stained the deck and decorative fence above the rock wall.

•Replaced the weather strip on garage door and added weather strip around perimeter on garage door opening.

•Sealed up a water stain and touched up on the inside of the house.

•Most importantly, got to meet a sweet and hospitable couple!!

Small interior job to kick off the work week.
Tree fell and hit this house, giving it some slight water damage and cracks internally. After Perimeter Roofing did their thing outside, we did our thing inside..

•Repaired cracks in (2) ceilings and (2) walls.
•Painted (2) Ceilings and (2) walls.

Contracted by Perimeter Roofing to fix some water stains turned into us painting 700sqft of ceilings for these guys.

We’ve been rolling this week!
•Ceiling out in Nathalie, Va.
•Steamed off two more layers of wallpaper.
•Removed damaged rake board wrap, installed new. Custom bent to match previous wrap job.

After going through 3 different ceiling paints provided by the homeowner’s stash, none would touch up our water stains and repair work in the ceilings. So Perimeter Roofing contracted us to just paint all the ceilings 100%. Going above the bar for customer satisfaction!

Pressure washed to clean, came back next day and applied a solid stain, product: “WoodLuxe” by Benjamin Moore.

Small commercial job for our friends at Perimeter Roofing.
Store front of a Family Dollar way out in Keysville, Va.
•Removed old, deteriorated caulk, causing water damage inside the store.
•Installed 1/2” Backer Rod to fill the void and applied a silky smooth 1/2” bead of clear, 30 year warranty silicone. Also siliconed the threshold of the entry way.

Four ceilings and A LOT of patch work done in this historic house. Including one entire skim coat for one ceiling.

Exterior to interior..
Started off with doctoring this door. Had some horrible blistering going on. Knocked out a few shutters.
Client from yesterday added the ceiling to the room we completed and man did it help!
Two very happy customers!

Color change.
After a couple repairs to the drywall we were off to the races.
“Ben” interior for walls.

We took advantage of this sunshine.
Crossed off two jobs.
•Removed shutters and pressure washed vinyl.
•Repaired louver in one shutter, painted (12) shutters front and back x2.
•Painted entry door x3.
•Put shutters back on house.
Small roof repair,
•Removed dryer vent, cleaned.
•Added extra flashing,caulk.
•Installed new shingles with proper bond stepping.

Just one foot forward for this monster house.
•Scraped all loose paint/wallpaper off.

This is a fire restoration job we have been asked to participate in. Once all the repairs have been complete, we will return for the painting portion. 😶‍🌫️😷💪🏼

Another exterior project in the books.
After pressure washing we revamped all the white around the deck and did a little scraping and painting on the gable vent and trim.

Pressure washing:
(5) different properties for our friends at Brownstone. All in a day.
Also cleaned gutters, fixed some siding, Cutt back some trees…we were just getting busy!
