Summer is HERE!!! Here are a few tips to keep your pets safe in the summer sun and heat.
We can protect our pets from the heat and sun by using a pet friendly sunscreen and we can reduce exposure by walking them early in the morning or late in the evening. Always offer shade and water when outdoors with your pet during the hot summer season. Never leave your pet in the car as temperatures can go up rapidly even during mild weather. Avoid hot surfaces for your pet to walk on. Offer water fun with a sprinkler or a kiddie pool to splash in. If you take your pet to the beach it is a good idea to keep them on leash as accidents can happen with other pets, ingestion of too much salt water or heavy tides.
Have fun and stay safe out there.
We will be open on Monday, July 3rd from 8am-7pm. We will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of the holiday. We will re-open for business on Wednesday, July 5th at 8am. Have a safe and happy holiday.
