Thank you to Congressman Glenn Grothman for holding a townhall in Berlin this afternoon and for all of our mutual constituents who turned out to ask questions and listen!
Wisconsin is in one of the most fiscally responsible positions in our history. Thanks to Wisconsin Republicans we have kept Governor Tony Evers and his colleagues from taxing and spending our state into the likes of Illinois and California. I look forward to continuing to find ways to right-size our government, create more efficiencies, and give back the money that our taxpayers have overpaid.

Today is a very bittersweet day as we say goodbye to our wonderful Executive Director, Lisa Meier. Lisa has been the Green Lake Area Chamber director for 4 years, and in that time, she has truly grown Green Lake in every way possible.
She brought back and added events like , Wine Walk, Keep the Cheer Here, WinterFest, and our concierge workshop for the J1 students. Lisa has helped increase our numbers for Concerts in the Park on Wednesdays and has been a part of many different committees like Green Lake City AD Hoc, Green Lake County Economic Development, and Future of the Fair. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what Lisa has brought to our little town and we appreciate how much she advocated for this wonderful community. She truly put Green Lake on the map for visitors and our community.
We will truly miss her, but we’re so excited for her next Journey.
Thank you, Lisa, for showing us all how lucky we are to have this beautiful community. 💚

The voters have chosen to have split government, so I think Governor Tony Evers could start with appointing citizens who are more down the middle and willing to work with both sides of the aisle. This is a simple example of checks and balances. Also, if the Governor won't let his appointees work in a bipartisan manner, then why would anybody want that job?
More perspective in the attached article.
