Fig Interiors, LLC
Interior Designer in Dane County WI Fig Interiors is a full-service design firm specializing in interior design, home styling, and interior project management.
While residential and commercial may differ in scope, all start with the same goal: to create a unique yet functional space you will love to be in.
MCM transformation!
This primary ensuite was calling for more space. Fig Interiors created a floorplan to reimagine it, claiming precious square footage from an adjacent hallway closet. We removed the column shower (that peach tile though!) added a new tiled shower along with a stunning new walnut double vanity for increased comfort and storage. Keeping with the mid-century modern vibe of the home, this awesome couple has a spa-like retreat in place of what was a dated, dark, cramped space. Check out the before!

Finally got to Waco, Texas to visit the home of . It was just as magical as I imagined. Whether you’re a fan of shiplap or not, the beautiful lifestyle brand Chip & Jo have created is unequivocally impressive, reviving parts of their community in the process. We stayed at ✨which was an impeccably restored Moorish Revival property bringing back the rich beauty of the roaring ‘20s combined with modern conveniences. 🙌🏻I left feeling inspired and grateful for the time spent there.✨
Seeing the sites around Paris hosting the brings me back to the days shopping the incredible Paris Flea Markets for boutiques. We opened stores throughout Europe and while there, our team always made time to comb the flea markets for treasures to add to our unique environments. We purchased furniture to be sent back to our warehouse in Long Island City, NY and allocated to upcoming projects. We shopped for Etageres, vitrines, curio cabinets and anything equestrian related. Best education for a budding designer, still have a penchant for mixing old and new for a curated look. Highly recommend while visiting Paris!
Seeing the FLOOR360 commercial air today during Olympics coverage at the office prompted me to share photos of this beautiful whole home renovation project. Traditional + modern = transitional design for the most wonderful and appreciative clients! We are grateful for collaborations with the best teams - another gorgeous project together in the works now. Can't wait share to more soon!

Happy Independence Day! May your day be filled with pride, joy, and gratitude for our freedom. Wishing you a wonderful 4th of July filled with family, fun, and fireworks.
TBT…Last Thursday I joined for a behind the scenes tour of local restaurant and boutique hotel . (Cheese caves!)
I was fascinated by the measures it took to restore this property and loved the emphasis on efforts to preserve the stories of those who came before us. It was an inspiring day of networking, learning and connecting with the history of the local community. The incredible effort boosted the local economy and is truly a destination in adorable downtown Paoli, WI.
New week, new website!
This is my third iteration of https://fig-interiors.com/ and my 11th year in business this June. Are you building a home or remodeling? I'd love to work with you to help create your retreat -- contact me to start the process today!
I recently heard it described by a colleague as "baking a cake"...the process that happens between Client, Designer, Builder and the many hands who produce "ingredients" that go into producing a perfect result.
All ingredients contribute to the fact that we love what we do, and we're beyond grateful to be invited into your homes year after year!
TONIGHT - read below for all the info ✨
Every second Monday of each month we host something we like to call Meetup Mondays.
Whether you're looking to make a new friend or network, we want our space to be a place for you to gather & connect.
We encourage everyone to bring business cards (or you can simply fill out one of our paper slips upon arrival) and get your 30-second elevator pitch ready! Every half hour, starting at 6p, we will draw a card giving you a chance to introduce yourself, your business, and/or what you might be looking for within the Madison community.
We will only be open from 5-8pm and drawings will be at 6p, 6:30p, 7p, and 7:30p.
No purchase is necessary to participate, but the bar and kitchen will be open for some cocktails & connection.
See you this evening!

Women in Construction Week celebrates the role of women in the industry. Throughout the week, we will be highlighting women who have been nominated for recognition of all the work they do within their companies.
Today we spotlight Shannon Figaro, founder and principal designer at Fig Interiors, LLC. Shannon shares the following when reflecting on being a woman in the construction industry:
"Throughout my 10 years in business, it has been awesome to work alongside more and more women making great strides in the construction industry. There are more women on jobsites, participating in projects and breaking the mold within the trades. Women are general contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, in addition to architects and interior designers. It is always rewarding to collaborate with women in this industry!"

Happy New Year! May the coming year bring you joy, success, and countless opportunites for growth and happiness!
It's New Year's Eve...got the bubbly ready?
This lower level renovation was a covid project. In the corner was a dark, dated bar but ended as a functional five-star entertaining space. A wine wall concept was in the original plan but cut due to HVAC limitations. Born out of that challenge...a walk-in wine storage room clad in white with a surprise tasting table, white paneling, custom display wall and a collectors dream with lots of storage capacity.
The exterior bar space includes back-lit onyx bottle display, panelized Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances and lots of gorgeous deep navy cabinetry. We would love to help you create your dream entertaining space! Cheers!

A lovely young family contacted Fig Interiors in 2021 for help with a full scale renovation.
They bought their forever home in a desirable neighborhood that needed updates. Scope of work defined; kitchen remodel, new flooring throughout, replace doors and trim, powder bathroom remodel, paint, lighting and furnishings.
The project was almost complete when they reached out to me with a dilemma. We transformed their home however, they also wanted to reface their fireplace which was put on hold due to budget planned for phase 2 at a later time.
Instead of waiting, we met and brainstormed a plan that checked all the boxes for a less expensive update we could do as part of Phase 1. As part of our meeting, they mentioned they hoped to incorporate a mantle to hang Christmas stockings, something they had not been able to do in any of their homes. We painted the stone to update and added a gorgeous new hickory mantle to coincide with the new hardwood flooring. We went into storage, found the stockings and planned the mantle size, height and location around them, in August mind you.
I COULD NOT wait to visit them once their Christmas decorations were up to see those stockings hanging there, and the family so happy loving their new fireplace (and beautifully updated home!). This the reason I love my job - seeing clients enjoy spaces exactly as we planned them!
