Check out this incredible addition to Attainment Company, Inc., facilities! They recently relocated their offices to a pre-engineered building expansion designed our team and KSW Construction Corporation, Quam Engineering and MP SquaredStructural Engineers. The expansion connects their offices to their existing warehouse, creating a seamless workflow for their team. Attainment Company provides educational products for people with disabilities, and this new expansion will allow them to continue their important work.

Throw back to our first project at Dimension IV Madison 20 years ago.

Friday night we celebrated our 20 year anniversary and ownership expansion with our D-IV staff, family and friends at n+1 in Verona. We are thankful for our dedicated staff and family support and looking forward to our continued success in the future!

Last week several of our had the opportunity to join a tour of Grandview Commons jobsite on the East Side of Madison. The women got to meet participants from a wide range of companies throughout the industry. They toured multiple phases of this 6 story commercial, mixed-use building with 2 levels of underground parking, 5 levels of wood, and 168,000 sq. ft.

Mary is a recent University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, having obtained a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture and a certificate in Design Strategy. She is joining us this summer as an Interior Design Intern, working on everything from space planning for state office buildings to evacuation plans for a senior housing building, along with material and finish selections for a mall and office building. In her free time, Mary enjoys being outside in Madison (especially at the Memorial Union Terrace), crocheting, kayaking, watching movies, and spending time with her family.


Jenny is an incoming senior at Mississippi State University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture degree, a five-year professional degree. While at school, she is a member of the School of Architecture program BARNworks, a student-run organization that publishes student work throughout the college. At Dimension IV Jenny works as an Architectural intern, working on various design projects throughout Wisconsin. In her free time, Jenny loves to spend time reading, watching movies/ anime, spending time in nature, having a picnic, and playing volleyball or baseball.

During our most recent collaborative brainstorming session, Belotserkovskaia, RA, AIA, NCARB led our team through an exercise in promoting the diversity of options during the design process. Thank you to Marina for leading a successful design charrette!

This 255,000 SF adaptive reuse project was renovated from a historic industrial plow manufacturing complex to a mixed-use development.

We are excited to announce the strengthening of our leadership team with two new members: Carl Miller, AIA, LEED Green Associate, and Tracey Mac Murchy, AIA. Additionally, Tina Gordon, NCIDQ, increased her ownership as the new Marketing Manager.

We are happy to have Will Bowman join our team as an Architectural Intern.

Will earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. During his time at UWM he had several externships and was lead graphic designer for a student-run architectural journal.

After graduating, he stayed in Milwaukee and worked at a small architectural firm. In the near future, he plans to pursue his Masters in Architecture on the path towards licensure.

Outside of work, Will enjoys running, football, volleyball, and longboarding. He also enjoys gaming, graphic design, watching Chicago sports, and exploring his new city, Madison!

We are currently seeking a talented individual interested in leadership opportunities to join our team as Project Architect.

We held a design workshop on Wednesday night for the new Village Hall at the Village of Deerfield to share information and design options with the community about the upcoming project.

River Parkway Senior Apartments (Wauwatosa, WI—one of our firm’s recently completed housing projects—just received a national award from Senior Housing News (SHN).

SHN’s annual Architecture and Design Awards competition recognizes design and innovation in senior living. River Parkway (winner of the Affordable Housing category) is a forward-thinking, modern design on a redeveloped industrial site. This project provides much-needed affordable housing with 118 senior living apartments and 18 family townhouses.

Congratulations to our client, MSP Real Estate, and our team for designing a building that is an improvement to the Wauwatosa riverfront and provides a residential environment that helps seniors achieve their healthy and active living goals.

As a firm, we are dedicated to incorporating as many sustainable features as are useful and affordable to our clients. One of our mixed-use, affordable housing projects completed last month--Ace Apartments in Madison--includes rooftop solar.

Halloween antics at the office on Monday!

This year’s costume theme was the letter “T" and it was fun to see the variety of characters who made an appearance.

First Place Winners – The T Rex Trio trotted around the building putting on quite the show.

Second Place Winners – Tweety Bird, Troll, and Turd Ferguson.

Dimension IV staff enjoyed the fall weather at Sutter’s Ridge Apple Orchard last Saturday. We got lost the in the corn maze, enjoyed the kids’ activity area, picked apples and pumpkins, and enjoyed apple cider and cider donuts.

It’s a beautiful orchard and is one of our co-worker’s Zach’s family farm -- check it out if you haven’t been there!

Grand Opening at River Parkway!

It was a beautiful day for the ribbon cutting / grand opening at River Parkway in Wauwatosa last week. The housing complex offers senior apartments in a five-story building and a mix of single- and two-story family townhouses.

We are proud and thankful to MSP Real Estate for their continued trust in our services.

And, the winning team (Björn, Bibiana, Matt, and Carl) will get their names added to the prestigious office plaque.

Sunny day shenanigans – Dimension IV’s annual “golf” outing. It was a gorgeous day on our “links” and fun was had by all!

Nineteen years ago this November, 19 people sat on a carpeted floor in an office space with no furniture at our first staff meeting at Dimension IV-Madison Design Group. We certainly felt the uncertainties starting a new firm during a downturn in the economy and knew we had a long road ahead of us to get our firm up and running. We kept our staff busy in those initial days and years. Here we are almost 19 years later, doing what we love - designing architecture and interiors. We are thankful that we have survived and are thriving as Dimension-IV Madison Design Group and are celebrating Small Business Week.

Madison College Fort Atkinson Metal Fabrication Lab expansion is taking shape. We cannot wait to see the completed custom metal panels on the exterior.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Tina Gordon, NCIDQ, to the position of Marketing Manager. Tina joined our firm 19 years ago as an Interior Designer and became a principal in the firm and lead of the Interior Design Department in 2008.

In this new position she will bring her wealth of experience with architectural and interior design projects to oversee all of Dimension IV – Madison’s marketing efforts. She will continue to lead the Interior Design Department for the foreseeable future.

Welcome Keith Hansford!

We are also pleased to welcome Keith to our team as a Marketing Intern for the summer.

Keith is a senior at UW-Madison, majoring in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. He plans on pursuing a career in either a market research or supply chain role in the future.

Outside of studying, he is an avid Packers, Bucks, Brewers, and Wisconsin Badger fan and enjoys hiking, fishing, or any outdoor activity.

Welcome Zachary Sutter!

We are pleased to have Zachary join our team as an Architectural Intern for the summer.

Zachary graduated from the University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin this year with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a minor in Graphic Design. While in school, he worked closely with professors and colleagues to create building documentation and community-designed intervention projects to better the Milwaukee area. He also pursued opportunities abroad in Japan and South Korea helping him expand his appreciation of architectural design. In the near future, he hopes to pursue a Masters in Architecture.

In his spare time, Zachary loves to travel and to throw himself into diverse cultures, and to learn different ways of life around the world. He also enjoys sports, including skiing and hiking.

Fun Fact: His family owns and operates Sutter’s Ridge Farm just outside of Madison, and they are looking forward to being able to open to the public for fall harvest this season.

Welcome Freddy Manengo!

We are also pleased to welcome Freddy to our team as an Architectural Intern. Freddy earned an Associate Degree in Architectural Technology from Madison Area Technical College in Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and speaks five languages, including French, English, and Swahili.

Architecture is his biggest passion, and he enjoys the challenges that it can bring.

In his spare time, he likes to play soccer, video games, and the piano. Music is a huge part of Freddy’s life, and he is passionate about writing songs, making beats, and singing.

Welcome Douglas Cao!

We are happy to have Douglas join our team as an Architectural Intern. Douglas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After graduating, he moved to Durham and worked for a small healthcare firm. He hopes to become a licensed architect soon.

In his spare time, Douglas enjoys playing video games and cooking; Vietnamese food is his specialty. He loves baking and exploring new food recipes and will pick up any hobby to try and dabble in. He also enjoys watercolor painting and playing with his little mini poodle, Remy (named after Dutch Architect, Rem Koolhaas).
