TEN DOLLAR TUESDAY FOR FREEDOM AND OWEN!!! WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

This week we are doing $10 Tuesday for these two dogs who were recently brought into FurBabies Animal Rescue.

Freedom was surrendered because her person no longer has a place to live and in order to stay at a friends house she had to "get rid of Freedom" She has a HORRIBLE ear infection as you can see from the photos which is affecting her eyes. Her owner said she has heart issues. She has an appointment with Dr. Jay today.

Owen was rescued from a terrible situation where he was being starved and had been put out in the streets to "find his own way" He needs to be seen by Dr. Jay this week for a possible UTI and ear infection. If she was unwilling to feed him I doubt seriously that he has had and heart worm meds or other preventative care.

We continue to have very few adoptions and therefore no funds coming in and especially no extra funds for dogs with issues like this but with your help we can do this!!!

We are in DESPERATE need of a foster for this sweet girl. She is about 2 years old and weighs only about 30lbs. She is the SWEETEST girl. Unfortunately she is in a kennel right now because her foster mom, who really loves her, had to go to New Jersey for her mom who had to be placed in hospice. She needs to be out by tomorrow!! Arthur update: Arthur went to his new foster home this week right after he had a check up for his UTI and to have his senior bloodwork done. Great news... the UTI was cleared up! The bloodwork was all-in-all pretty good. Some of the kidney levels were high and since Dr. Jay was out this week we will go over those more with him next week. Meanwhile Arthur is enjoying his new foster home and foster brothers!!

We need an IMMEDIATE foster or foster to adopt for Millie. She is such sweet and beautiful girl. She is a 2 year old (possibly younger) 30 lb. (perfect size) female Beagle mix who we rescued last week from a shelter in SC when Debby was on her way. She has done great ion her temporaryt foster home. She is playful and would do great with another playful dog. Her older foster sister gets irritated because Millie would like to play more than she wants to.

We said goodbye to another one of our hospice pups, Rusty aka Lil Man, this morning. A HUGE thanks to his foster mom, Lori Scaldara and Joe Scaldara who loved him for 3 years. We never thought he would be with us this long but I guess he just knew how good he had it!! Rest in Peace Lil Man.
