Meet our SLP, Paul LaBounty!

Paul has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 11 years now. He grew up in El Paso, Texas before moving to Laredo to attend Texas A&M University-International, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication. Paul continued his education at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he earned his Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders. He received his Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is also LSVT LOUD certified. Paul is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, and knows American Sign Language. He has worked in a variety of outpatient settings, and enjoys working with populations where he feels he can really make a difference, like neuro. Paul loves spending time with his wife and two kids, and enjoys participating in CrossFit competitions and watching sports on TV.

Meet our OT, Barbara Gresham!

Barbara has been an Occupational Therapist for twenty-six years. She grew up in Dallas, Texas before attending Texas Woman’s University for her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She continued her education at Texas Woman's University to earn her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Barbara has worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities with a variety of patients. She is a certified Hand Therapist and also has her NDT certification. She has previous experience working with pediatrics and adults with neurological conditions. Barbara recently moved to South Texas with her husband and their two cats. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys volunteering at her church, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Feature Friday! Meet one of our PTs, Kindyle Brennan!

Kindyle has been a Physical Therapist for 10 years. Kindyle grew up in San Antonio, Texas where she went to school at University of Texas - San Antonio where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She then proceeded to continue her education at Texas Woman's University where she completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Kindyle went into a residency immediately after finishing her DPT, where she earned her Board-Certified Clinical Specialist certification in Neurologic Physical Therapy. She has since focused her practice in inpatient neurorehabilitation facilities. Kindyle has also earned her Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist and is also a certified Vestibular Therapist. She is excited to move into an outpatient facility and continue to work with many patients with neurological conditions. Kindyle will be coming to the McAllen area with her family including her husband, three children, and her dog, Mr. Scout. In her free time, Kindyle enjoys running marathons, going on bike rides with her family, reading, and cooking.
