During the pandemic the service industry was hit hard. Many former employees sought new employment in other industries. Others made life changing decisions and chose not to return.
Here at Layered, we were lucky to retain most of our valuable team during the pandemic. But as business ramps back up, we have found it challenging to find new team members. We must pivot and innovate to maintain outstanding service with our ever growing customer base. So, what are we to do?
We put on our creative hats, and came up with a plan. Today a new member will join the Layered team. This new member will help serve, host and enhance the customer experience. Most importantly, they will help ease some of the workload for our loyal employees who have been with us through it all over the years. Our newest member is a robot.
Yes, you read that right…a robot. Get ready for the fun part.
As we welcome our newest team member, we need a name! So we decided to have a contest.
During the month of August come by and get to know us again. Have a cup of our exceptional coffee, enjoy a delicious meal and help up name our robot.
