What a beautiful day to be outside and get some Vitamin D. The kids enjoyed time at the playground building those large motor skills, and after, they had a Picnic during lunch time.
The vitamin D your body produces when absorbing ultraviolet light from the sun can help with bone development, disease prevention, and a healthy nervous system. So get out there and enjoy some sunshine.
Cuteness overload! 🥰
We love our babies
The kids had a blast doing Chalk art and learning about their bodies. This month, the theme is "Human Body" The kids have been learning a lot about their bodies and functions. Here are some great facts on chalk art:
1 – Enhances Academic Knowledge:
While playing with sidewalk chalk, kids develop color recognition, sorting and matching skills. Try having your child copy the letters or even trace their bodies and help them label each part such as their head, foot, hand, arm, and leg.
2 – Improves Fine Motor Skills:
Playing with sidewalk chalk can be one of your child’s first experiences with coloring and writing. It helps them learn the appropriate pencil grip as well as develop fine motor control and manipulation.
Encourage younger children to learn to write their name, while older kids can make elaborate designs such as race tracks and treasure maps.
3 – Encourages a Love of Art:
The world of art offers so many amazing benefits for children. By allowing them to color and create their own designs with sidewalk chalk, they begin to express themselves in their own creative way.
Sidewalk chalk is an amazing learning tool that allows for hours of learning through play! Little do children know, that they are building important academic and motor skills while having fun.

For the month of February, our Curriculum is focused on The Human Body. The toddlers learned about veins and created a craft to show how the veins go throughout our hands.
Our adorable sweet babies are enjoying their time exploring different things in their environment. Babies love all things sensory and being able to see and touch! Something as simple as a mirror helps them explore and recognize the world around them and themselves.
Come Join us on February 23rd for Primary Class Science Fair from 5-6PM.

Toddlers are getting ready for February with some Valentine's day Crafts. They used pom poms to outline the shape of a heart. 🥰
Slime time! The kids had so much fun making snowman slime. They got to measure, mix, and create a snowman.
This was last week before we got hit with cold weather. The kids enjoyed the beautiful leaves and nice weather.
The toddlers had fun counting and matching with their counting cards. Teaching children to count involves more than helping them learn the numbers one to ten. It involves helping children understand the meaning of numbers. You can help your child learn to count by making counting a fun part of your day. Count socks as you sort them; count the juice boxes in your refrigerator; count the cars and buses going by. The more experience children have with counting, the more they will learn the meaning of numbers. Understanding the meaning of numbers takes experience with counting lots of things, and you can help by giving your child this experience regularly.
