On this day in 1930, the highly remarkable astronaut, aeronautical engineer, and test pilot, Neil Amrstrong was born. A true hero to us all, Armstrong spent his life pushing the boundaries of exploration and discovery. As the first man to set foot on the moon, his work along with the rest of the Apollo 11 crew has inspired generations of scientists, engineers, and pilots to explore the unknown and to continuously ask questions about the physical nature of our universe.
