Training for a race on the causeway. This is my first time running the causeway and once you think you’ve had enough then you start going downhill and then it’s a sprint down. I love my little soft water flasks. They fit in my pockets and you don’t feel them at all. My total today was 6.7 miles and I’m very hot 🥵 and tired.

This week we were celebrating 6 years in business. Every year in business is a blessing. We have had to face so many obstacles and through the grace of God, still going strong 💪. I thank God every day for this great opportunity to be able to see clients one on one. Thank you to all of our clients that come on regular basis , as well as returning clients and clients that have referred. Thank you to Kim for making a huge impact in our TheraFit PT program and for being a perfect employee and practicing what she’s preaching. Thank you to my amazing husband that pretty much does everything. Thank you to all our wonderful referring medical offices that have confidence in us we will get their patients moving and out of pain. There is so much to be thankful and grateful for and looking forward to many more years of business 💗.
The hardest part of growing watermelon 🍉 is when to pick it. It will not ripen on your countertop so you have to pick it exactly the right time. Our little random garden watermelon that decided to grow on it’s own was delicious 😋. So juicy and sweet. Yum 😋
We split a garden omelette and garden sweet potatoes for breakfast. Delicious 😋
You all have been asking me what’s going in the garden? Here goes! Here’s the heat tolerant plants that thrive in the summer. The watermelon 🍉 popped up on its own from last year so we just let it ride and lucky enough to actually have a melon on there.
Happy Fri-Yayyy!
Happy Fri-Yayyy! CeCe had a stand off with the bunny.
Home of the Free because of the Brave! Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing 4th. 🇺🇸
Happy Fri-Yayyyy!
Ran my last race of the summer yesterday. Shark in the Park 5k. I bumped into a couple of friends (Kasey and Emily) that were also participating. It was 🥵 HOT! I didn’t get my target goal 30 mins BUT happy that I still had a personal best of 31:18 which is 24sec faster than my last time. Will keep training until I start back up in October for races. 💪🏋️♀️🧘♀️
Happy Fri-Yayyy!!!
Happy Fri-yayyy! This is a 5 lb 13oz cassava root I harvested this past weekend. The biggest one yet!
While I was walking, I was thinking, “I’ve never found an in tact conch shell 🐚 “. “Wouldn’t that be nice”. And shortly after, there it was sitting out in the open with no other shells around, in the shallow surf of the water. Truly a gift from God 🙏💗. I am very grateful and appreciative of God’s beauty all around.
Happy Fri-Yay!
Harvested beautiful Cassava/Yuca from our backyard garden and made chips. Not healthy, but at least I know what type healthy oil and know there are no preservatives. AND they are WAY more delicious than the store bought ones. That one root made 2 gallon zip lock bags and it will last several weeks. I like to season with salt, pepper and onion powder. Soooo yummy 😋.
Happy Fri-Yay!!!!

It was very 🥵 HOT running this 5k yesterday. Move It 5k benefited mental health, addiction and su***de prevention. I was happy that I ran a personal best. (I’m still not as fast as Kim 🙃) There were a lot of really FAST runners there and I ranked 12 out of 65 females in my group.
Critters in the garden. We live on a small residential property that’s fenced in so I’m always surprised to find wildlife. We have a turtle, baby opossum in our cherry 🍒 tree, and a bunny. 💗. CeCe loves finding the critters. Luckily for them, she is gentle. I threw in a pic of Royal Ponsianna flower because they are pretty.
The hubs put me to work a couple of weeks ago picking jalapeños, and harvesting coriander and dill seeds. You have to wear a mask and gloves when working with hot peppers 🌶️ or you will end up with chemical burns.
Congratulations to Kim on an excellent run resulting in #1 Female Masters Champion! Way to go Kim 👍🏻🎉👏💪
Had so much fun at the Moonlight 5k on Friday. It was a tough run that was unexpected. The run was on a golf course so had hills, grass and sand AND lots of wind in your face for about a mile after the first mile. There were slow runners in my group of 19 females so I ended up making 2 nd place! 😂
Here’s a reminder on all the great benefits of exercise and why everyone should exercise. They’re many ways to exercise and anyone at all ages and mobility can do it! If you’re not sure how, just ask and we will tell you!!!
Harvested a beautiful Cassava (yuca) and made delicious crispy fries. So yummy 😋 backyard garden
Happy Wednesday! Al picked a super duper large carrot 🥕 from our garden. We ate it in our Chicken Tortilla Soup he made last night for dinner. It was delicious 😋.
It was a fun Saturday with The Body Mechanics run team for running 1 mile and 5k at the SuperHero run for children. A very fun event with lots of mascots walking around, vendors and goodies. Congratulations to Kim who placed 2 nd in her division and Beth who ran a personal best.
Happy Fri-Yay!
The sauerkraut has to be mixed daily for about 10 days. Great gut healing food!
Made sauerkraut from home grown garden cabbage. It takes about 10 days total and you have to mix it daily. Only ingredient is salt and it naturally makes it’s own juice. 😋 You can add other ingredients for flavor. Al likes to add caraway seeds.
