It is an honor to be a part of this project with Humanities Kansas and An American Story Documentary Series to explore the role of the Church of God in Christ in the holiness movement. Please join me this Sunday, September 19 at 6 p.m. CST for a YouTube online screening of the documentary film “The Journey of Pentecostalism from Tennessee to Kansas”. It details the foundation of our Church through the lens of Bishop Charles H. Mason, Overseer D. J. Young, and Bishop Charles Pleas.
