Last week our August General Membership meeting was held at our new Stock Exchange location! We got a lot of information concerning this year's consignment sale and it got us REALLY EXCITED!! We also had a puppet show from Kids on the Block and got to experience first hand what they do for the kids in our community and one of the reasons we do fundraisers like the STOCK EXCHANGE.
Thanks again to Belz Enterprises for use of such an AMAZING SPACE at 5258 Summer Ave, for our WONDERFUL Stock Exchange Committee for getting this organized and for our FABULOUS Hospitality Team that always provides us with the best food.

The Kids on the Block program helps educate children about social concerns and differences thru puppetry. Each year KOTB reaches over 25,000 youth in our community and we need your help to do so. Some of our ladies donated summer clothes today to one of our grantees Neighborhood Christian Center. Their clothes filled the entire bin!! Thanks for representing LP by dropping off these donations Barbara Hvasta and Susie Dugger!

We were so honored to receive the Academic Enrichment Award from Madonna Learning Center! We ❤️ our folks at Madonna!

We are so excited for our Princess in the Germantown Charity Horse Show Sarah Bonner Sink! 🩷🩷She will represent Les Passees in all the horse show events 🐎🏇starting today (June 4th) thru June 8th.

Our ladies had a fabulous night learning the “Bend and Snap” at Legally Blonde the Musical at Germantown Community Theater Thursday night 5/30. Thank you for the generous donation from our member Sue Olsson for making this FUN night happen!! 🩷

Les Passees celebrates Women's involvement in Memorial Day!
The origins of Memorial Day can be traced back to the Civil War era, when women in the United States began decorating the graves of fallen soldiers. These women, often referred to as “the Ladies of the South,” recognized the importance of honoring and remembering those who had made the ultimate sacrifice. Their actions led to the establishment of Memorial Day as a national holiday in the United State.
Women have always had a active role from it’s origins decorating grave, to organizing events, serving as nurses for our military and even serving in the military themselves. They have honored and remembered the sacrifices made by fallen soldiers and have provided support to veterans and military families. Women continue to play an important role in ensuring the spirit of Memorial Day is upheld and that the sacrifices of those men and women who have serves in the armed forces are never forgotten.

Our Les Passees Associate ladies had a Fabulous time at the Assocaite’s Tea on Friday May 10th! It was a great chance for associate members to get together to visit with friends old and new. Thank you to Kathy Sapp for opening her beautiful home to host this event!

Sunday May 5th our J1s got to “chill-axe” with our board members and their spouses for a fun “Axes and Ales” themed party! The J1s brought their spouses and significant others to introduce them to Les Passees and get to know some of our members. They also got to enjoy a little Axe 🪓 throwing, a ton of great food and some beer and wine, and a kick 🫏 Margarita (thanks Susie!)
