With the Olympics ending, we’re spotlighting one of our own: Emma Grace Haecker (Epsilon-Louisiana State) who worked in Paris this summer interning for the Olympic Broadcasting Services as a video logger:
“My focus was on gymnastics and athletics events. I also contributed to covering torch relays, press conferences, and personal interviews.
During my time at the Olympics, I learned a lot about the behind-the-scenes aspects of broadcasting and the significant effort required to deliver the greatest live sports moments to the whole world. I’ve also become skilled with technologies that initially intimidated me but now feel like a pro with. In addition, I’ve had the privilege of meeting people from all over the world and learning about their fascinating cultures and countries!
What I feel I’m bringing back is an experience to share with others, one that can inspire them to pursue their goals and not be afraid of daunting challenges. When I applied for this position, I felt like I was taking a shot in the dark since I didn’t meet most of the qualifications. However, after a year-long interview process and training, I ended up securing my dream job in a dream city.” 💚

On this , hear from a chapter president Natalie Morehouse (Zeta Sigma-Charleston) about what makes Kappa Delta special to her.
“Before college, I thought of sororities as just a way to make friends. But Kappa Delta has shown me it’s about joining a sisterhood. Now, when I think of ‘sorority,’ I remember the fulfilling friendships and fond memories I’ve made. I can’t imagine my college experience without Kappa Delta. I fell in love with it during recruitment, drawn to the genuine interactions and contagious positive energy. The connection among the sisters was something I didn’t want to miss. Being part of this chapter has helped me find my place, given me a supportive community, and boosted my confidence. Serving as chapter president has been my biggest blessing in college. I adore this sorority and these girls, and I’m forever thankful for the impact they’ve had on my life. I’m proud to be a KD.” 💚💚💚

Today’s is all about giving back to the community! Hear from Chloe Fontenot (Gamma Kappa-Louisiana/Lafayette) who serves as her chapter’s director of philanthropy and community service:
“THIS is what sorority life embodies. It’s about stepping beyond a college campus and reaching out to those in need. It’s through these acts of selflessness that the spirit of sisterhood truly flourishes, defining what it means to be a sorority woman. This year, my chapter was able to deliver a donation of $39,475 to our local women’s shelter, Faith House of Acadiana. I’m so grateful for my role as director of philanthropy of community service in Kappa Delta.” 💚
