IMPORTANT:
The trunk-or-treat event is TOMORROW (Sunday) the 29th. The newsletter erroneously listed it as Saturday the 29th.
You should have received an update email from Wright, but for those of you who may not have, please DO NOT show up at the boat dock looking for candy tonight, it won’t be there until tomorrow evening at 4 🎃
Our resident blogger has started writing again! Check out the newest article:

IMPORTANT:
Ballots may be submitted via the same mail/email methods as last year. However, we recommend waiting to submit your ballot until AFTER the candidate meet and greet on October 29th, so you can be sure you're making informed decisions!
Love this!
After our previous board did everything they could to silence their “opposition,” it’s so refreshing to see this sort of thing from our current board!
See you there!
Ballots are arriving in the mail!
If you haven’t received yours, but you’re in good standing, please reach out to Wright Management!
Today (10/4/23) is the last day to submit nominations for the HOA Board.

Our team would like to take a moment to thank our neighbors for how much they care about our neighborhood, and to address a document that has been floating around for a little while now.
As our CCRs are laid out, homeowners may not participate in the political process of our neighborhood while they are not in good standing. It is only logical that the same rule should apply to sitting Board members. The RiverwoodForward Team agrees on this notion. The current Board seems to as well, based on casual conversation and on the fact that none of the Board members are in arrears.
The RiverwoodForward Team is grateful to the residents who have taken initiative, gotten active in our community, and put time and effort into being the change we want to see for our neighborhood. We would love to work with these neighbors to optimize this effort while addressing some major concerns and loopholes (more about those in an upcoming blog post; I will post the link in the comments), if they are willing.

Lunch is served!!
This weekend’s food truck is Fiesta Wagon. Today 11-2 at the dock. Come on down and get some delicious Mexican food!
Ready for Lunch? Hangry? Need a snack? We know just the place -Eat at Eric’s. They are at the dock until 2pm. Just had the CBR Grilled Chicken and Fries. DELICIOUS!
Lobster for dinner anyone?
TODAY IS THE DAY! For this food truck Friday, we have the pleasure of having Cousins Maine Lobster and Suga Mama’s Snoballs coming to our boat dock! they’ll be here from 5:00 to 7:30 this evening. See you there!
P.S. Please note the difference in the times: while previous food trucks have been here around lunchtime, Cousins and Suga Mama’s will be here at dinnertime. However, that little extra wait will be worth it!
PopPop’s is HERE, just in time for lunch! they’ll be here until about 2:00, so come join us at the boat dock! (Just follow your nose!)
Saturday’s forecast: BARBECUE!
Riverwood’s own PopPop’s Pit Stop Barbecue will be at the boat dock this Saturday, April 8th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Last weekend they were forced to reschedule due to weather, but we’re so excited to have them out this weekend!
See you at the boat dock!
Unfortunately Pop Pop’s has had to cancel for today due to last night’s storm, but MUDDY’S IS GEARING UP FOR SOME SWEET TREATS FOR OUR INCREDIBLE NEIGHBORHOOD! See you at the boat dock!
P.S. no worries, we’ve heard that Pop Pop’s intends to reschedule, so stay tuned for dates and times when we’ll be enjoying their delicious barbecue!
THIS SATURDAY (April 1st): FOOD TRUCKS AT THE BOAT DOCK!!!
Two local favorites, Pop Pop’s BBQ and Muddy’s Bake Shop, will have food trucks at the boat dock from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, or while supplies last. Come out, meet your neighbors, and enjoy some delicious food! See you there!
Last night, our team had the opportunity to attend the March HOA Board meeting. During this meeting, we made a huge step forward: the board voted unanimously to allow residents to attend the Board meetings, even if they have nothing to say and just wish to observe.
However, there is one catch: due to potential issues with capacity, you MUST reach out to Nikita at Wright Management via the website https://www.riverwood901.com/contact/ or email her at [email protected] to let her know you'll be there.
Please note: the Board and Nikita made it VERY clear that this is NOT any sort of "screening" or "permission" thing. However, our HOA president has said that if you do not give Nikita a heads-up, you can't just "walk in off the street."
Additionally, the second half of the meeting is used by the Board to discuss individual residents, homes, and accounts. That portion of the meeting will be Board members only, and everyone else will be dismissed before those discussions begin.
Thank you all so much for your continued support. There have been some major hurdles getting to this point, and there are still more to come, but we have made some significant progress in moving Riverwood Forward!
Apologies for the extended hiatus, but we're back! Lots going on, lots to talk about, but first:
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO FILL OUT THE SURVEY!
This is NOT the same survey that Board member Woody Savage put together a few months ago, so even if you filled out that one, please go ahead and fill this one out too. The data from this survey will help our Board be better able to serve you!
The link is probably in your email, or you can scan the QR code on the signs around the neighborhood!
HOLIDAY HIATUS:
This page is not dead; your RiverwoodForward team has just been insanely busy, both post-election and pre-holidays. In the meantime, we apologize for the “radio silence,” but no worries, we’ll be back!
We wish all our neighbors a merry Christmas and happy holidays!
