Everyone has been impacted by cancer, whether you have lost a loved one, know someone fighting the battle, or someone who has kicked cancer in the butt! Come help us celebrate, educate, and engage the community with fitness.
The Community Cancer Education & Action Series is partnership between he Healing Cathedral Christian Church, local non-profits, and leaders in the field of cancer to provide learning opportunities in Whitehaven and the greater community that are hands-on, supportive, and useful in taking preventive measures, treatment options, support services, and community education. The Cancer Education Series will include, but is not limited to the following activities:
Lung Cancer Screenings
Fitness Classes
Supporting the Caretaker

The Kick Off Event is Saturday, August 13th, starts at 9am.

We are happy to debut a monthly newsletter sharing community successes. This one kicks off with record-setting stats for the Community Foundation, announced at last night's Annual Meeting. We are thrilled to say that in FY 2016, our donors granted $143.4 million to nonprofit organizations; 84 percent stayed local!
