***2014-15 Policy Debate Topic Announced***
After a nationwide vote, the NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) has announced the 2014-15 Policy Debate topic:
Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its non-military exploration and/or development of the Earth’s oceans.
We will begin discussions and production of the 2014-15 core files later this semester to use for instruction at our June 23 - 27 Summer Debate Institute.

Students who join debate teams are 42% more likely to graduate than those who do not. African American male debaters increase their graduation rate by 70%.
