We are the Graduate Association for African American History or GAAAH. We are a small body of graduate students in the history Dept.
We try to reach out to students interested and involved in history, although our field is primarily African American-we reach out to all. I see our principal purpose as helping graduate and undergraduate students identify with and navigate through their courses at the U of M. Again, although the field is African American studies, race or ethnicity is not important.
We are excited to be partnering with Black Voters Matter for an event this Thursday! Black Voters Matter will be on campus to promote their “TSU 2.1 Billion” Campaign! We hope to see you there🙌🏻
