"Becoming a mother leaves
no woman as it found her.
It unravels her and rebuilds her,
It cracks her open, takes her to her edges
It's both beautiful and brutal;
often at the same time."

💕 PREGNANCY FACT 💕
"For many women, pregnancy is a time when they tend to have more frequent and vivid dreams, and remember their dreams in more detail."
The amazing changes that your body goes through during pregnancy may contribute to noticeable change in dreaming patterns. Your physical, emotional and mental state are all connected.
Increased hormone production can affect the way your brain processes information, as well as impact your emotions and increase the feeling of anxiety. All of this can impact your subconscious mind and ultimately result in more frequent and vivid dreams, or even nightmares.
The frequent disruption of normal sleep that occurs during pregnancy, caused by discomfort or the need to urinate often, will also impact the amount of time your body spends in REM sleep or Rapid Eye Movement.
This is the stage of sleep when dreams will occur, and any frequent disruption can affect how often you dream and increase your ability to recall and remember your dreams in greater detail, having them feel more vivid.
Pregnancy can cause many women to feel more stress and anxiety than normal for various reasons, and dreaming is one way that your subconscious mind processes and deals with these thoughts.
Talking through your anxiety, fear or worry with someone may help to quiet your mind from attempting to solve problems while your sleep, and hopefully give you a better night’s rest. 😴
Did your dreams change during pregnancy? In what way?
Any you want to share?
