H.M.B.a.W.T. is a group of friends who like to cook, hang out, and have a good time. is a group of friends who like to hang out, cook, and just have a good time.
We have turned that hobby into a Championship cooking team. We participate yearly in the World Championship Hot Wing Festival in Memphis, TN that helps raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, as well as a couple local BBQ competitions. So far, our team has helped raise over $12,000 for the Ronald McDonald House.
Today’s the day! Come see us at the World Championship Hot Wing Festival on Riverside Dr. Our team tent is set up near Monroe.
Tickets are $15 at the gate, then for a small donation you are able to taste wings from 45 different teams. All proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis.

It was a beautiful day with some beautiful people at the 1st inaugural 901 Hot Wing Festival at Grind City Brewing- Grind City Brewing Company. We cooked 160lbs of wings and met some amazing people. We won people’s choice and 3rd place in blind box. Some people said our wings were “great”, but our customer service stood out and that is why they voted for us.
Competition days take a lot of work and are a complete team effort, but compliments like that mean more to us than the scores we get from a judge. Thank you to the all of the people that come out to support us at each competition and thank you to all of our new fans who have just got to know us. We hope to see you all at our next event.
