Seeds of Hope for SEEDS
supporting the East Africa Project's Seeds School in Kenya... a ministry to orphans
Share a photo of your zinnias! …and remember, the more you cut them, the more blooms you’ll get as the summer goes on. Mine usually bloom until October, so cut, cut, cut away! You’ll have blooms through the fall.
It is one month out from planting, so there's plenty of time to buy Seeds of Hope for SEEDS! Good gardeners have a range of dates they call "last frost" but I go with tax day. It seems to bring some happiness after the government takes so much of our income. 🥴 $5 gets you a packet of zinnias AND a packet of marigolds. Comment below or DM to bless students at Seeds of Hope and start your summer garden of 🩷💛💚🧡❤️
A HUGE thank you to everyone who has purchased seeds already! 🥳 It's not quite time to plant them, but you'll be on your way soon to bouquets of color.
If you would like to get seeds from me soon, message me! Changing lives looks a lot like this ⬇️
Today I would love to introduce you to Richard. He is the visionary behind Seeds School and many other ministries to orphans, widows, and the vulnerable in western Kenya. If you meet him, you will certainly hear him say, "We are trusting God for..." Then he will continue on about the latest project the Lord put on his heart to do or build or accomplish for the blessing of the people he serves and the good of God's Kingdom here on earth. He built a school for orphans, he built a job training center for orphans, he took a field to grow crops to feed those he serves. He sees needs and then dreams about how to fill them! Lives are being changed in the name of Jesus. 👏
Richard inspires everyone he meets. He makes me want to dream big about what God can do when I join in what He is doing! Next post, I will share specifically how we can join Richard in what he is doing NEXT.
👋 I'm Angela and I want to share how my side of Seeds of Hope for SEEDS all started. Not a green thumb by birth, I started planting flowers when we moved to the South in hopes of having a cutting garden. I needed to know and grow the absolute easiest flowers!! Zinnias were the test project and -- yes -- they are so easy and keep blooming all summer long. Cut them to bring in or give to a friend and they pop out a few more blooms in that spot. Mine bloomed from June to October last year, bringing so much sunshine and happiness to my home as they filled vases for those five months.
I'll share the story of Seeds School shortly, but I knew after meeting the founder that I had a small way to bless a big ministry by sharing my seeds. Thus, here we are! 🌺🌸🌼
YOU can be a part of big things in Kenya at Seeds School! 100% of your donation will go directly to the East Africa Project. $5 suggested donation for both flowers together -- but any amount is welcome! Free delivery to Bellevue Baptist Church. Please add $2 for shipping.
Hello FB world! We are just getting started with this page and cannot wait to share with you the incredible ministry of the East Africa Project and how you can support Seeds School by buying seeds to start your spring and summer garden.
