A Lee Dog Story
US 501(c)(3) nonprofit - Stories of life on the streets and recovery through the power of art, film and storytelling.
As Homes for Hearts builds new tiny homes, we will capture the story of our city uniting to bring permanent community-driven change.
🏡💙
It is with great honor that we announce Homes for Hearts’ partnership with Bridges for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (BridgesDHH)!
Our two nonprofit organizations will be working together to identify candidates for our affordable and sustainable Tiny Home Transition and Homeownership Program.
BridgesDHH has been serving the D/deaf, Deaf-Blind, and hard of hearing communities since 1927, serving across Tennessee and into our neighboring states. The organization provides advocacy, education, outreach, case management, interpreting services, and more. In Memphis and the surrounding areas, they are known as BridgesWEST.
BridgesWEST and Home for Hearts share a commitment to helping those in our communities find safe, sustainable, and affordable housing, and we are proud to partner to identify and support appropriate, shared clients.
BridgesWEST will help us vet new applicants and support those who become transition residents and, ultimately, Homes for Hearts homeowners. Both organizations strive to build and support a vibrant community of equality, access, opportunity, and self-realization, a community in which all are welcomed and valued.
Thank you Memphis and Tennessee for your continued support!🏡❤
