Dr. Hankenson is the Associate Vice Provost for Research and Attending Veterinarian and Executive Director, University Laboratory Animal Resources, at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
She recently published a paper entitled “The Elephant in the Room: Recognition and Documentation of Personnel Practices That Confound Reproducibility” in JAALAS.

We express our deepest gratitude to William "Bill" & Millicent Gay for their thoughtful bequest to the AALAS Foundation. Their generous gift, included in their Will, not only supports our mission, but, also significantly advances our work, creating a timeless legacy within the AALAS Foundation.
The conference room naming ceremony was held on Friday, June 21, 2024. Members of the AALAS Foundation Board of Directors and AALAS Executive Committee gathered for the unveiling of the new conference room signage and dedication ceremony.
We are proud to also include William "Bill" Gay, past AALAS National President, on our virtual Memorial Wall of Honor. His memory, as well as that of his wife, Millicent, will forever be cherished within the AALAS community. Abstracts are submitted through the Abstract Central portal. Abstract submissions should consist of recently published or unpublished research or clinical case presentations, or new solutions for management/husbandry problems. Abstract submissions are not the appropriate forum for topic reviews. Abstracts are designated for either poster or platform sessions; awards are presented to the best poster from each of the poster section categories. Unlike many other professional societies, AALAS does not charge an abstract submission fee.
