-The temperature set on your AC should be no lower than 25 degrees less than the temperature outside. (Example: If it is 100 degrees out, your ac should be no lower than 75 degrees)
- Do not turn off your unit if you are leaving home, even for short periods of time.
- Close your blinds and doors to unused rooms to help cool your apartment.
-Provide plenty of fresh water and shade for your pets to stay hydrated and cool.
-Limit outdoor activities to early mornings or late evenings when it's cooler.
