Conway Care Packages and Meals For You took our bash indoors this year! Yet, we were still able to give back to the community by giving away 125 backpacks. Thank you so much for all your donations, spreading the word, and always supporting our vision! It’s truly a blessing to give back, and I’m thankful to be surrounded by people who continue to help that vision come alive. Thank you to my board who I have long meetings with, they have amazing ideas, and pour into our organization. Princess and MK drove from Nashville and had an eventful morning to be present for the event! Thank you .0 for providing the food, your partnership, and willing to stand on the corner in the heat. Thank you Reggie, Regence, and Mariana for volunteering and making sno cones. I had way too many. Thank you .colbino for always volunteering your time and helping our event be successful. We can’t work on trauma until we can recognize there is an issue. We all know that can be difficult. But take it one day at a time. Your first step may be having awareness there is a problem. Your second step may be seeking the right therapist….And so on. The steps to healing looks different for everyone. One thing I learned from our Trauma discussion is increasing mindfulness and creating wellness goals. The way to healing is taking it little by little, day by day, minute by minute, hour by hour. As long as you’re trying each day to invest in you and your mental health that’s a good bite. If you are in need of therapy or support please reach out to or .

This gem was dropped on our Trauma discussion on Tuesday with our wonderful therapists Sierra and Ngodoo! I had to fan myself. The Open Palm was so eye opening because in reality things will definitely come and go in our lives. However, when we see relationships or anything we are accustomed to having about to slip away we close our palms. When we close our palms we don’t allow the opportunity for something else to replace it. “We should operate in a place of abundance.” That perspective shift was deep because we all have (or could currently be) held on to people and things and won’t allow ourselves to detach from it. But let’s keep those palms open and allow abundance to come because we deserve that.
Make sure to follow and for your therapy needs and support.

A great perspective shift on our Anger Management discussion on Tuesday with our wonderful therapist Ebony and Steven. The strength in walking away is so powerful. It prevents you from making impulsive decision that can affect your life, hurting someone, or yourself. What makes you strong by staying in an environment that has made you feel tense, feel disrespected, feel belittled, feel overwhelmed, feel angry, feel unloved. Protect your mental, protect your peace.
Make sure to follow and for support and therapy services.

Are we taking our personal feelings out of the equation, past emotions, toxicity, etc. to make sure we are doing what’s indeed best for the child? That can be difficult to do but can eliminate stress in your every day life. Remember you can only control you so make sure to create healthy boundaries. Follow and if you are ever in need of therapy and support.
