Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry
The mission of the organization is to end diaper need and alleviate poverty by providing basic essentials for their babies and improving their quality of life.
Consider donating today via our Amazon Wishlist - https://bit.ly/Changing901 For families in need providing an adequate supply of diapers can be costly, up to $150 per month causing many families to choose whether to pay bills over providing diapers. Some parents leave the child in a soiled diaper for longer than they should in order to save on the cost which can cause significant health problems for the child. This is not something a parent should have to face but it is the reality for many.
Distribution day. We distributed over 20,000 diapers and supplies today. We also were able to distribute full cases of pads and tampons totaling over 5,000 period products.
Thanks to our amazing volunteers from Junior League of Memphis, Oak Grove Church Women’s Ministry, Wellpoint, and our college and high school students.
We can’t do this without them.
Thank you Youth Advocacy Program- Memphis Shelby County School - AED for recognizing Rosie and Sweet Cheeks. We are grateful for the continued partnership in providing supplies to teen parents in our community.
The First Horizon Foundation unveiled the recipients of its Grants For Good campaign. There were 3,500 applicants across 12 states. 160 were awarded, and Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry was one of them! We couldn’t be more grateful that our organization and our mission of ending diaper need has touched the hearts of the nominating committee. This grant will go a long way in providing much needed relief for families in need.
Congratulations to our founder for being crowned as a recipient of the Yellow Tea Rose Award by Sigma Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Congratulations to the other extraordinary women who were also honored.

🎉🎉Cheers to 10 Years🎉🎉
Can you believe it? It’s been 10 years of changing the Mid-South and we have loved every minute.
I started Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry, not because it was just something to do but because I found myself in need after giving birth to my daughter and there wasn't any available services to assist my family. Some organizations helped with food, rent, utilities, etc. but not one who could assist with diapers. I didn’t know that there was a term for what I was facing, and what millions of other families face - Diaper Need, which is the constant struggle to afford clean diapers for babies.
This is how Sweet Cheeks Diaper Ministry was birth; from humble beginnings to wrapping diapers in my living room to being able to have a warehouse filled with volunteers.
Serving our community has been life-changing and I would like to continue this for years to come. We can't do this without our community supporters.
As we celebrate our 10th Anniversary, there will be several opportunities to show your support.
Stay tuned for more ways you can help us celebrate 10 Years of Changing the Mid-South.
