Our office will be closed beginning at noon on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 and will reopen on Monday, November 27, 2023 for regular business hours.
These moms have just completed the Fall Baby Steps classes. In these classes, our moms learn about Baby Basics, Infant CPR, Breastfeeding, Labor & Delivery, and they also learn about Financial Literacy. Friendships are made, and they receive plenty of baby items to prepare them for their babies. At the end of the classes, they receive a certificate showing their dedication to being the best moms for their babies! It is amazing to see these moms not only show up for their babies, but also show up for themselves by being open to learning new things and making connections that may last a lifetime. π«Ά
Our next set of Baby Steps classes are set for January 2024. To register, please contact the office at 901-327-8109 for more information.

Oh what a time we had this past Saturday at our Baby Steps Breakfast! It was such a sweet time! Our volunteers prepared an amazing meal for them, we played games and gave away prizes. Moms were able to get maternity clothes as well as take a baby bump photo in the photo booth. Friendships were made, there was plenty of encouragement for the journey ahead and moms committed to being the best moms they could be for their babies. Our cups were filled knowing that we were able to make such a great impact in the lives of these moms!
We are so grateful for everyone that had a hand in making this a successful event- Thank you!!π«Άβ€
Thank you so much to Walmart Cordova for allowing us to be apart of the Grand Reopening celebration, I had such a great time! Thank you for your heart and vision of sharing resources with your staff and with the community!

It is days like this that are a sweet reminder of why the work that we do here at Birthright is so important. Pictured below is a teen mom who is a junior in high school who is overcoming every obstacle that has been tossed at her. Her determination and dedication is a breath of fresh air and her smile can brighten up a room! We are so proud of her and proud to walk alongside her.
There are so many stories of women who are defeating the odds and fighting obstacles everyday to make choices for a better future for their babies and families.

It was such a fun and amazing event where I was able to connect with and share the mission of Birthright with families within our community. It was a blessing to see so many moms and dads and so many organizations working together to provide support for them!

We took a moment away from all of the responsibilities of life to just laugh and enjoy the moment. These students are not only faced with working hard and staying in school with the hopes of making it to graduation, but they are doing it while parenting. We could not be more proud to celebrate them!
On this day, we came together with Young Life Memphis to talk about setting achievable goals that will help them to manage and maintain their responsibilities and stay focused academically and personally. It takes the community to help bring change within the community!
Will you support our efforts in assisting teen parents to be successful by praying for them as well as giving in their honor? To give, click the link below π

September is Infant Mortality Awareness Month. Prenatal care lowers both infant and maternal mortality rates. It is vital for the relationship between mom and her health care provider to be one where she feels seen, where her concerns are valued and given the care and concern she deserves. If you have not already began to see a doctor during your pregnancy, make the call TODAY.
We understand the importance of taking time to Relax, Refresh and Recharge so our office will be CLOSED today, Friday September 22, 2023 and will reopen on Monday September 25, 2023 to allow our staff the time to do so.
