By this time tomorrow, Beechwood’s campus will be bustling with Alumni and their families. Make sure you are one of them! The BBQ starts at 11am. Come with a chair/blanket, and an appetite for food, laughter, and great energy! 💜 Spread the word!

As always…if you know them, tag them!

Beechwood Parents and Students - thank you a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week. You spoiled us!!

Padres y estudiantes de Beechwood: gracias por una maravillosa Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros. ¡¡Nos malcriaste!!

In four short weeks, we hope to see all of our alumni on campus as we bring back the beloved BBQ. Let’s see these kids and grandkids! 😜 And you, too, of course! Check out these throwbacks and then mark your calendar for June 1st!

If you know them, tag them!!

This is not a joke, good people! It’s really happening. After a five year hiatus, the Alumni BBQ is making a comeback.

We would like to invite all Beechwood Alumni, their immediate family members, and former staff to join us on June 1st, from 11am-1pm. Come reconnect with us, see fellow alumni and former colleagues, remininsce over old photos, let your children play games, eat some tasty vittles, enjoy this beautiful campus, and more!

We REALLY look forward to seeing you!

Dear Beechwood Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we tell you about the passing of D’Andre Stamper, a member of Beechwood's Graduating Class of 2011. Not only was D’Andre a graduate, but he also worked as a substitute teacher at Beechwood over the past few years. He is remembered as a warm and caring spirit who possessed a bright mind and an infectious smile. His visits to our school were always welcomed and he will be remembered fondly by so many of us.

Our sympathies rest with his sisters and mother who are also a part of our community. We know this will be a challenging path for them and we remain ready to provide support as needed.

For those wishing to pay their respects to the family and celebrate such a bright light, there is a candlelight vigil being held tonight, July 31st, from 7 - 9:00 pm at 1420 Kavanaugh Drive, East Palo Alto, CA. Details below:

What a treat! On opening day, all Beechwood students and faculty members (roughly 185 in all) were invited to watch The Little Mermaid. Sure, it was a massive event to orchestrate! But thanks to Ms. Angela Harrington, Principal Taylor, Melinda Anderson Christopherson, Isabel Jimenez and others, it was a great success!

We’d like to especially thank the employees at Century Cinema 16 for their hospitality and patience!

Thanks Level 10 Construction, Meta and the City of Menlo Park for keeping our students safe during the construction of the Menlo Park Community Campus.

This, by far, was the most “chill” Thanksgiving feast on record. The weather was great. Ms. Nickings’s coordination was outstanding. The parent volunteers were amazing. The food was delicious, and bellies were full. Nothing but smiles over here as we got ready for our holiday break.

From our Beechwood family to yours, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

11/21/2022

Due to our current health climate ONLY current students, staff and parent volunteers will be able to attend our Thanksgiving celebration on Tuesday, November 21st.

Beechwood Alumni - we love and miss you and know that this is a special time for you to visit, however, we are not able to have you join us tomorrow. Take care and we will catch up soon!

Congratulations, Beechwood School! The votes are in and Chocolate Chip has been named your official cookie flavor!

Check the comments for the breakdown.

Now that the polls have closed, check out pics from our day of voting. The rain meant mobile polling booths, but nevertheless participation was very high!

Great job, Beechwood, for making your voice count! Results will be made known next week.

11/08/2022

Beechwood’s voting will be underway shortly.

Remember to exercise your right today!

Beechwood Votes!

Next Tuesday, Beechwood students and staff will be participating alongside our nation in voting. On the ballot is one simple question: Which flavor should be named Beechwood's official school cookie? The choices are chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, or snickerdoodle! Results will be announced the following week during spirit week.

What’s your favorite?
