Our “kid”, Anthony Morales (2023 graduate) stopped by today to say hello! Anthony, age 19, is an Assistant Store Manager at one of the highest grossing Wing Stops in North Texas. Anthony is on track to become a store General Manager. We are so very proud of him and wish him all the best!

All current Juniors and their parents/caregivers are invited to attend a special Parent Education Night this Thursday at 6pm in the PHS library.

Today, three of Poteet’s counselors were honored to receive Counselor of the Year nominations in MISD. The entire PHS counseling team works diligently to serve its staff and students and is grateful for the districts acknowledgment of the huge contribution that counselors make to our district.

For anyone who has not had their yearbook images already taken, on the 17th and 18th you will have it taken on campus and 1 Yearbook Image will be selected by default and will be available for you to review about 2- 3 weeks after this picture day.

This school year all students driving to PHS will need a parking permit. 🚗🚘🚙Come by the school to get yours beginning this week! Senior parking spots include the price of the permit.

We loved seeing our new freshman on campus tonight at P.I.T. Camp (Pirate in Training). Counselors shared with students about personality/emotional intelligence and also got to share with parents about what to expect in the high school years!

Save the date! Poteet is excited to welcome our incoming 9th grade students! Parents will drop their child(ren) off at 4:00pm. There will be a parent meeting at 6:00pm. Enter through the front of the building. 🏴‍☠️
