Good Morning Family! Feeling a bit under the weather today. Will be working from the parsonage and on call if anyone needs anything today.

Today, Sunday, between 12:00-1:00 while supplies last, we will give out free roast pork dinners. Please come in the side parking lot door for your dinner.

Come One-Come All! It's Pork Dinner Time. No dinner plans? Join us at Mexico First UMC this Saturday October 26th from 4-6pm for our annual Pork Dinner. Eat in or Take Out. Bring your family and bring your friends. Good food and good fellowship will be had by all.

If anyone is wondering what church is, it’s everything from children being un-afraid to worship and dance in the front of church during service to being able to leave the past at the cross. What a great day of worship. Lycoming Unitedmethodistchurch and Mexico First United Methodist Church both are a place of worship and family and both give so many opportunities to gain in your relationship with God and ways to give to this community and world. Come join us this fall, advent, and Christmas season. All are welcome, none are turned away.

It’s the 2nd Thursday Family and time for Open Mic Night at Mexico First United Methodist Church. Come and share a talent or just to enjoy the performances. All are welcome! Sign ups begin at 6, with performances starting at 6:30.

Good morning family!!!! Calling all angels!!!! Benjamin just shared info on a family in the Oswego school district that has lost everything but the clothes they were wearing in a fire. Let’s see what we can do to lift them up. I am posting clothing sizes and donation ideas.

Following Cardboard Village 2024 we had joint worship with Mexico First United Methodist Church at Lycoming Unitedmethodistchurching and we blessed and dedicated the new playground after worship. What a blessed weekend as children of God.

Just a reminder family. Worship will be combined together at Lycoming at 10am to support our children in Cardboard Village and for the blessing and dedication of the new playground at Lycoming. I hope to see everyone there to worship together.

Almost here family!! Tomorrow is Cardboard Village Weekend. This year Lycoming UMC is hosting, and any children grades 7 to 12 can join in on the fun and learning. We will be meeting at the Lycoming church tomorrow Saturday the 21st at 3pm to start the building of cardboard houses. We will share in a dinner meal and team building and learning games along with smores around the campfire. As part of bringing awareness to the homelessness in our community, the children will be sleeping in their creations followed by breakfast and helping with the worship service on Sunday. If interested please notify us through this post or messenger so we can be sure to have the materials for your child. You do not have to be a member of either church to participate. All are welcome, none are turned away.

With the help of their Pastor, Brandin Greco, the youth at Mexico First United Methodist Church raised over $200 with a dunk tank. They voted to donate it to Victor Transformation, a men’s homeless shelter in Oswego County. Learn more about this church’s eccentric fund-raising ideas:
