A big day for education!!!
Governor signs bill reforming Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) system, finally ending test-and-punish evaluation model NYSUT President Melinda Person released the following statement in response to the governor signing into law S9054/A9849, which will fix the onerous Annual Professional Performance Review system 14 years after its enactment.

The tigers lost a tough one to the defending section champs, Cortland. Our MVP’s of the night were Olivia DeStevens for Mexico and Valerosa Gambitta for Cortland. Thanks to MACSFA member Andy MacDonald for presenting the award.
