This morning, the AHW Team toured the new ThriveOn King building, located in the former Gimbels-Schuster’s building at 2153 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
The building is part of the ThriveOn Collaboration—a joint venture between Royal Capital, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, and the Medical College of Wisconsin—that aims to make a more equitable, healthy, and thriving community for all. 🌟
Although still under construction🚧, the building is set to be completed this fall. We’re excited about the opportunity this beautiful space will offer for us to connect with our Milwaukee community partners and stakeholders! 🤝
🎉 Dr. Yohualli B. Anaya, MD, MPH, has been selected for the class of 2024 National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Fellowships, joining a prestigious group of making a difference nationwide. 🌟
Dr. Anaya, associate professor in the department of family medicine and community health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, will serve as a NAM Fellow to Advance State Health Policy, a program funded by AHW.
