Private Ahlborn did all of the above. When his best friend died, Brett promised him that he would finally fulfill his dream of joining the United States Army. At 375 lbs, he had some work to do to be eligible. He worked with our Sheboygan recruiting team and lost enough weight to start his journey. He made further progress with the ARMS program, a fitness program for incoming recruits. Fast forward to today: Private Ahlborn is an Infantry Soldier and headed to Hawaii.
This is grit. This is resilience. Wish him luck!
