The future of philanthropy shines bright! Thanks to a generous donation, students from Journeys Lutheran School and Wisconsin Lutheran College had a hands-on experience in making a difference as grantmakers at Siebert’s Collaborators’ Event. Watching our colleague Sarah Gilday receive the Scott M. Cutlip Professional Fundraiser Award at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter (AFP SEWI) filled our hearts with pride. Congrats, Sarah! We are lucky to have you on our team.

An astounding $182,850 was raised in just 90 minutes at the Collaborators’ Event hosted by the Siebert Lutheran Foundation. These funds are now fueling the missions of 13 exceptional organizations dedicated to supporting communities in Wisconsin. Siebert will match all gifts made with a $100,000 donation bringing total funds granted as a result of this event to $282,850. Huge thanks to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin for allowing us to use their spacious warehouse to host this event! "

Proud to partner with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin on this pilot program to bring dairy products including milk, yogurt, eggs, and butter to food pantries like the one at All Peoples Gathering Church. Can’t say enough about the 30+ Lutheran church-based food pantries in and around Milwaukee that we have the opportunity to support. These churches are an anchor in their communities. They go away beyond handing out food to bring hope, healing, and fellowship to families in the community.

There were showers of what we believe are blessings from above at Serenity Inns' groundbreaking ceremony this week! This new initiative to build a 14-bed treatment facility meets a need for additional affordable treatment facilities in Milwaukee. The Inn turns away at least 5 calls a week from people ready to begin their recovery journey.

Congrats on yet another bountiful harvest Mount Calvary Community Development Corporation! It's inspiring to see the farm grow from the first seed planted in 2018 and it's also wonderful to see MCCDC's youth interns gaining valuable career and life experiences on this farm.
