In last week's Torah portion, Mishpatim, G-d promises to bring the people of Israel to the Holy Land. The Holy Land is the indisputable home of the Jewish people, and era after era we will continually be guided back there.
This past Shabbaton, we learned about the impact one Jewish person can have on other Jewish people. When something happens to even just one Jew, the entire nation is affected. It goes beyond all the people that have been touched by that person. We should be aware of the impact we have on others and cherish every moment we have together.
