It’s officially July, which means only 3 more weeks!

DON’T FORGET! You can bring 1 personal hygiene item (deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste, pads, tampons, shampoo) in exchange for one free raffle ticket to use on raffle prizes! All hygiene items will be donated to StreetLife Communities Milwaukee, an organization that provides access to resources in Milwaukee.

ALERT! ⚠️There is an increased risk of a drug overdose in the community. Since Saturday, Milwaukee County has had 17 suspected overdose deaths.

Narcan and fentanyl test strips are available at the Lake Area Club (N60w35878 Lake Dr, Oconomowoc) and Narcan is also available at the Alano Club of Waukesha (318 W Broadway, Waukesha) from 9am-9pm.

We are excited to announce the beneficiary for our 5th annual event, on July 22 hosted at Milwaukee Alano Club! Overdose Aid Kit - OAK is a volunteer based program in which Serve You Rx and Start Healing Now work together to make Narcan more accessible. Together, they work with governments, businesses, and more to install OAKs (Overdose Aid Kits) in their communities. The kits contain Narcan, a medication that can reverse or reduce the effects of an overdose. The Narcan in each OAK is available for anyone to take, no questions asked, to use in an onsite emergency or to keep in their first-aid kit for future use.

Today we remember the individuals who lost their lives to the disease of addiction with the display of a black balloon. We send our prayers and endless love to the families and friends who have lost their loved ones to an overdose, with hopes that will raise awareness and end the stigma.
