Milwaukee Police Department and District Two Officers were privileged to attend the Eucharistic procession at the Basilica of St. Josaphat with a special invite from Father Bob. The procession, a sacred tradition in the Catholic faith, involves carrying a consecrated host, symbolizing Jesus Christ, through public streets in a display of reverence and unity. It's a symbolic journey from one holy site to another, mirroring the spiritual journey towards eternal life. This event is a beautiful representation of faith, community, and the belief in a benevolent presence in our lives. Grateful for the opportunity to witness such a powerful expression of community and faith. An extended blessing towards our city. "

DON’T CROSS THE LINE: The large painted line on the ground before crosswalks is there for a reason! Motorists are required by law to stop their vehicles before marked stop lines at intersections. This gives pedestrians plenty of space to traverse safely across crosswalks without having to navigate around the front of vehicles.

How far over the line have you seen cars stopped?
