In March 2015, MPower's Director and Founder, was approached after co-directing a successful production of "The Va**na Monologues" to a sold out opening at UW-Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI to direct "Pocketbook Diaries." "Pocketbook Diaries" was inspired by Sharon McGhee's "Pocketbook Monologues" and included many works of local artists and a huge cast first time actress/activists." The Body and Soul

Happy opening to Bronzeville Arts Ensemble and Black Arts MKE, Inc. opening "Zuri's Crown", a new musical presented as part of World Premiere Wisconsin, a statewide festival of new plays and musicals. We were happy to help our fellow artists, giving materials, props and costumes for the show. Break a leg!
Many of you know that the Milwaukee community lost one of its biggest advocates for youth last month. In her honor, the Queens of da Mil is adopting her family for Christmas. Please consider giving if you can.
Dixie Kuppe rest in peace. Jeremy was responsible for us being able to perform at Milwaukee Pride two years. They were always supportive of our advocacy and activist theater. RIP beautiful soul.
Milwaukee lost a beloved LGBTQIA+ community member today. Jeremy Hanson, aka Dixie Kuppe, was a pillar of Milwaukee drag and a lifelong advocate for q***r folks. Your joyful and loving spirit will long be remembered!
