Our teachers work hard providing fun and learning to their students everyday so quarterly we like to have fun playing some games for the coveted Dowling Eagle Traveling Trophy. Pumpkin bowling was back this year and all pumpkins stayed intact!

Recently, our 4th graders went on an overnight environmental trip to Eagle Bluff. They had a wonderful learning experience and made lifelong memories.

Summer is here, and so are delicious free meals and snacks for kids 18 and under!
Children and teens do not need to attend Minneapolis Public Schools. No sign-up is needed – just show up to eat! Food will be provided during specific timeframes and must be eaten on site. To find free meal and snack sites near you, download the Free Meals for Kids app or check mpschools.org/departments/cws/summer-meals.
I want to thank our Dowling community, PTO, Site Council, families, students and staff for a wonderful year! This week has been one of celebrations for Beautiful Bus Behavior, Sing-a-longs, Field Trips, Dilly Dally Day, 5th Grade Celebration and Kindergarten Celebration. We are hiring for a Special Education Assistant for our Resource Program. The majority of your day would be assisting students in their general education classrooms. You may also be needed to help at times with our developmental cognitive disability classrooms. Hours are 9:20am-3:55pm. High school diploma required.
