After the City’s Early Vote Center closes at 5 p.m. today, any voters who still haven’t voted can only do that at their assigned polling place or by dropping off a completed mail ballot at the City’s election office. All polling places are open tomorrow from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m

The City and partners are holding the third "Visioning Workshop" for George Floyd Square at 5:30 p.m. July 23. Topics will focus on memorial locations, the Peoples Way site, and right-of-way design priorities. This event will continue the discussion to create a community-centered vision for the area.

Olive apartments show how the city is growing better because the Minneapolis 2040 Plan allows for more housing density. Olive has 44 apartments on 3 lots where once only single-family homes and duplexes were allowed. Also, less parking space is required.

Today, we are joined by Mayor Frey and the Fire Department to unveil the City’s first NARCAN vending machine. The vending machine:
• Provides 24-hour access.
• Contains more than 100 boxes of NARCAN, each holding two doses.
• Is free to community members with no barriers.
• Location: Fire Station 21, 3209 E. 38th St., Minneapolis
