🌞We're ready for the weekend, and the Mission Summer Family Picnic with our friends over at Mission, KS Parks + Recreation! Join us to celebrate summer, friends, neighbors, and fun at Broadmoor Park on Saturday, July 13 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
🌭Treat yourself to a free hot dog dinner and ice pops, fun family games, and live music from The Good Sam Club Band. A beer garden for the adults and Dippin' Dots ice cream will also be available for purchase.
⛱Remember to bring your favorite lawn chair or picnic blanket to fully enjoy this fantastic evening of summer fun. We will end the night with a spectacular laser light show.

No sweep today Yankees! Our Royals brought the game to an end with a 9th inning comeback for the win, scoring the tie and then winning run with only one out left in the game! So exciting! It was a great time hanging out with our Mission Square family of real Royals fans. When it’s 94 degrees in the shade, you know who the real fans are! Exciting time for the bottom of the batting order players, who stepped up at the plate for the win! Great time for all!

The TRUTH is, that all of the “STUFF” here on earth we work SO hard to buy and accumulate. Does NOT mean a thing. At the end of the day...people will be cleaning out our "STUFF", going thru our "STUFF", figuring out what to do with all of our "STUFF"....this "STUFF" we've accumulated in our life. The only thing of VALUE that remains are the MEMORIES and what we deposit into others. May we all learn to spend less time accumulating "STUFF" and spend way more time making MEMORIES. Here's to family and friends!

Happy Leap Year everyone. Sealing the time capsule for 4 years till 2028! Residents dropping interesting things to look back on and filling out prediction questionnaire with important foresight into Chiefs upcoming seasons, what will happen with Tay and Trav, who will be the next US President. It will be fun to revisit all of this in 2028!

Mission Square danced in the New Year with great friends, entertainment and food! Well, honestly the party started at 5 and ended at 8pm but we are on retirement time clock, so it didn’t matter that most were in bed by midnight😉Still good times!

It’s a wonderful time for our annual KC Christmas lights tour and on-bus scavenger hunt! Two hours and 36 prizes awarded, this group was competitive and engaged. What a fun group and great night!
