We're delighted to celebrate Wayne Mott's anniversary with FCCA today! Wayne is the executive director of our main office, and so much of what we accomplish is thanks to his leadership. Happy anniversary, Wayne!

Let us introduce the Hernandez family:

"Our journey with FCCA began in July of 2019 with a general information meeting. My husband and I wanted to get as much information as we could and so, we attended with open hearts and minds. To my surprise, in this meeting my husband began filing out paperwork as it was placed in front of us! My heart filled with joy as I knew, we were off on our next adventure! The next few months were a blur of paperwork, trainings, and getting the house ready for any and everything. With my husband and I being wedding photographers and the pandemic hitting, it took a little while for us to get everything into place. Our home study was approved in January of 2021 and the next few months we waited on pins and needles for that call. It finally came in April of 2021 for our first beautiful baby boy. (Of course, the call came the day before having to leave town for a wedding! Which we got covered to welcome home our baby boy!) Our journey with Antonio was quite a long one but everyday with this amazing little guy was more than we’d ever imagined. Bringing him home from the hospital was such a special experience that I never thought we’d be able to have. Before we got to finalize our adoption and just 16 short months after bringing Antonio home, we got another call in September of 2022! This call was for our sweet, smiley Sebastian, Antonio’s new biological brother! While we’ve always been open multiple children, we certainly had not imagined having two under two so quickly! I say this with the most love, and in the best way possible but it was chaos! The most beautiful, crazy, overwhelming, magical chaos. And it still is as our boys are now 2 and 1. But we wouldn’t have it any other way! 2023 was the year of Happily Ever Hernandez. We got to finalize our adoptions with both boys! Antonio’s was finalized in January and Sebastian in May.

We are so thankful to our FCCA family here in Fresno. Their love and support meant the world to us during our process, we can’t imagine where we’d be without their help!"
