This trip is open to people of all ages and abilities and goes from July 30 - Aug 12, 2024. It is a 2-week excursion along the east coast of Australia that includes working with several wildlife conservation groups, engaging in Aboriginal culture, and having a lot of fun Aussie adventures!

Hoping all our Kinesiology Grad Students had a refreshing and enjoyable Thanksgiving break! We’re less than 2 weeks away from the end of term, let’s finish strong!

Moses Bojorquez has goals of being a college track and field coach and has taken advantage of many of the unique opportunities that the Graduate Kinesiology Program has to offer to its students. Moses has been teaching a Physical Education Conditioning course at SMC to undergrads! “Teaching this class has helped me get better with explaining movements and has tested my understanding of the movements. It’s taken me to another level in coaching Cross Country.” Swipe to hear what else Moses has to say.

Brandon Kearney has taken advantage of many of the unique opportunities that the Graduate Kinesiology Program has to offer. One of them is teaching a Physical Education Weight training course at SMC to undergrads! and last semester he worked directly with the athletic department as the graduate coordinator! Kinesiology Grad student Spotlight:
✨Maria Kozyreva✨

Maria is originally from Russia and is now a 5th year grad student at SMC, she came to the States at age 13 to pursue playing professionally! Kozyreva is currently enjoying the graduate kinesiology program and is excited to see where this last year brings her both athletically and academically! Her concentration is Sport’s Management and Maria hopes to coach collegiate tennis once she retires from playing.
