A huge congratulations to SEBA senior, Cameron Lessman, who, with the assistance of Professor Sankaran Venkateswar, has secured the highly coveted Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) scholarship. The is a nonprofit corporation created by the Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002 to oversee the audits of US-listed public companies.

The Saint Mary's Undergraduate and Master's of Accounting programs continue to excel, meeting the growing demand for high-caliber accountants in corporate America. 👏 👏 A huge congratulations to Brett Yokom, Ph.D. for successfully defending his dissertation, "The Influence of Developable Personality Traits on the Frequency of Technology Start-Up Founder Pivoting." Professor Yokom's study explored how certain personality traits of start-up founders relate to the frequency of "pivots"—major changes in business models. Andrew is one of the first Data Science graduates from Saint Mary's and this year's winner of the Ada Lovelace Award for highest scholastic record.
